Clemens Busch
The estate is located in the municipality of Pünderich in the Bernkastel area in the Mosel wine-growing region in Germany. The winery, managed by Rita and Clemens Busch since 1986, encompasses almost 16 hectares of vineyards in the Pünderich locations in Marienburg (in the Fahrlay, Falkenlay, Felsterrasse and Weissenberg plots) and Nonnengarten. The dominant grape variety is Riesling, we also find Müller-Thurgau and the red wine variety Pinot Noir. The Busch family practices organic viticulture according to the guidelines of the Ecovin Association. With steadfast quality and in harmony with nature, the vines are cared for here, as are the soils on which they grow. The formerly excellent reputation of the Pünderich Marienburg location is thus brought back to life. The focus of production is on high-quality, dry-aged wines. Clemens Busch attaches great importance to the individual expansion of the individual plots in order to emphasize the character of the respective terroir. Thanks to the strict selection of noble rot grapes, great noble sweet Rieslings have also been produced in recent years.
