Franz Keller
A hike over the Kaiserstuhl gives an idea of the beauties to be discovered in this spot of land. Nature alone has a lot to offer here. Anyone looking for artefacts will quickly find what they are looking for at the Franz Keller winery in Vogtsburg. Architecturally embedded in the vineyard terraces over 3 levels, it is an eye-catcher and is reminiscent of Californian models. Functionally, it has the advantage of always being able to work with gravity instead of pumps.
It has been a member of the VDP since 2014 and is managed by Fritz Keller together with his son Friedrich Keller. The winery has a large number of plots in great vineyards in hand and in style it is based on the Burgundian reference. Which I can well understand. With the maxim "as little as possible, as much as necessary", Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris are produced here at a high stylistic level.
