KRONE
Anja and Tom Drieseberg have been running the traditional company founded in the 17th century since 2007, initially as a partner and since 2014 as the sole owner. Individuality, focus on your own potential, plays a central role in the wines of the Krone winery. These come from the parcels of the world-famous Assmannshaus Höllenberg called "Filetstücke" by Gault Millau.
Here, where the slope of the slope is almost 60 percent, and only manual work is the order of the day, vines from Burgundy were planted in the 1960s. The archetypes of the Pinot Noir, paired with what the idiosyncratic terroir produces, determine the very special aroma of the Krone wines, which have been developed in the 60 meter long natural rock cellar for more than 150 years.
Clear cassis tones, which are combined in the glass to form a multi-layered bouquet, are reminiscent of the noble relationship. The result is unique wines that cannot be found anywhere else in Germany. The expressive aromas of black currant stand as a genuine signature of the vineyard that the Krone wines produce. The Pinot Noir of the Krone winery are among the representatives of the new German Pinot generation.
