Ökonomierat Rebholz
The Rebholz family has been practicing viticulture in Siebeldingen since 1632. There was also a brewer among the family members, but one family member was always a winemaker. The family began bottling wine after the end of World War II. As was customary at that time, the catering trade had previously been supplied by bulk wine. The center of the wine factory is the manor in Siebeldingen, which the family has lived in for over 100 years. The idea of the Rebholz type matured in the head of the trained forester Eduard Rebholz (1889-1966), who took over the parental viticulture after the war and was supposed to make a lot of talk about himself as an "economy council". He definitely took offense at the wine taste of those years. He countered the bottomlessly denatured, artificially sweetened drop of his time with his idea of "natural wine". The winery's philosophy: The winery has embarked on a path that leads away from the “mainstream”. The Rebholz-Weg persistently follows the in-house idea of "natural wine", which the winery has been committed to since the days of the Economic Council, since the 1940s. Today and in the future, neither is enriched nor deacidified to maintain the character of the wine. A late harvest by hand, continuous floor care and the expansion with the latest cellar technology reflect the quality standards of the house, with the result of a truly excellent wine enjoyment.
