off-dry wines

"Feinherb" is a German term used to describe a type of wine, particularly in reference to sweetness levels. It indicates a wine that is off-dry, meaning it has a slight sweetness but is not as sweet as a semi-sweet wine. Feinherb wines are often associated with Riesling, a popular grape variety in Germany, and are typically balanced with good acidity. In short, it's a level of sweetness between dry ("trocken") and semi-sweet ("halbtrocken"). This term is less strictly defined than others, so the sweetness can vary slightly from producer to producer.

The slightly bitter temptation that can increase the drinking flow and the juiciness. Pure pleasure with lively acidity and some residual sweetness. If a Kabinett tastes too sweet for you but is simply too sharp when dry, you could come to terms with the slightly bitter style. This style is not regulated by wine law and is legally in the semi-rock range, which is still known from the old Mosel bottles from the eighties.
