2018 Riesling | brut | Raumland
Riesling is definitely the most important grape variety in German viticulture and a figurehead for our wine tradition. This is precisely why we have high standards for our Riesling sparkling wines and only produce them in the best years. After a 5-year break, it's finally that time again and we can welcome the 2018 Riesling Brut back to our range. The nose shows fruity aromas of white vineyard peach, lime and green apple. Despite the 36-month aging on the lees, it looks refreshingly youthful. On the palate you can find the aromas of citrus fruits as well as pomelo and apricot. Candied orange zests with floral notes complete this sparkling wine. It's crisp, clear and juicy! Lively fresh acidity, elegant enamel and minerality on the palate. The fine perlage reflects its pure liveliness. A nice aperitif or, for example, to accompany a menu with baked tempura shrimp or sushi. (Source: Sekthaus Raumland)
