Sommeliers Sauternes
This white wine glass was launched in 1989 with the hand-blown series HR 1 presented. The idea for this design came from Hardy Rodenstock, famous wine collector and specialist (named Wine Spectator 15.12.1988 him: "The world's most extravagant wine collector"). In many internationally occupied tastings, experts have found that this glass shape is unrivaled in the tasting of sweet wines, especially large ones Sauternes. For this reason, RIEDEL has decided to create this perfect to include glass in the SOMMELIERS series. The idiosyncratic design conveys the aroma reminiscent of apricots and biscuit from noble rotten grapes pressed wine.
